Treated with the rigor and care they deserve thorny issue, this publication covers everything related to child sexual abuse. This is a training manual for teachers conducted by a multidisciplinary team (composed of doctors, psychologists, lawyers ...) that set out in its pages their knowledge to bring it to the people who work directly with children.
It is coordinated by Pepa Horno, Ana Santos, and Carmen del Molino, head of the Prevention of child sexual abuse, the same technical and legal adviser for Save the Children, respectively. Fills one of the shortcomings in the development of that program: the deficit of working materials and guidance in this area and the difficult access to them.
The publication is divided into seven chapters: introduction, what is sexual abuse?, Child sexual abuse prevention, treatment, content annexes, schedules of activities relating to the prevention section, and resources, bibliography and evaluation. Along them, and the different sections in which content is organized in each case, is exposed in a clear and didactic information that aims to help those working with children in the sensing and actuation in a situation of child sexual abuse.
